Bella casa

Hermosa casa luciendo estilo Mexicano que brindo un ambiente acojedor. Nos pudo no haber quedarnos mas dias. Y aunque solo fue un dia, estubimos muy comodos, seguros, y tubimos amplio espacio.

The host was very cordial and available. Amenities were good. We had a difficult time finding the place. The security did not recognize the name Casa Clarita. Security had to call the hosts to verify that we were supposed to be there. Also the noise level from the adjacent highway was very loud in the master bedroom. Double paned windows might be very helpful.

Mexican style

It was our first time in Cancun, we were meeting with the grandparents there for Christmas. Conveniently located, very close to the bus stop and a beach access. If you’re traveling on a budget, Casa Clarita is a great place to stay. Apartment was older, but we loved the interior design. Our host Narda was excellent, always very prompt with communication. Few little things could use attention but overall we enjoyed our stay and had a good time.

Casa Clarita

Overall a nice property. Lots of construction noise from work on other buildings in the complex. Water pressure was terrible and the hot water was pretty much non existent. Taking a shower and washing dishes was miserable. The AC in the master bedroom was extremely noisy and struggled to keep the room cool during the day.

Group of 4 for 9 nights

We stayed here for 9 nights in early January. It was the first time in Cancun for all of us. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.I will say that if you want perfection, this is not the place for you. For the price, I felt that it was a good place. The layout was comfortable. It was fairly well equipped. We were able to cook and eat most of our meals at home, as we prefer. There are two different outdoor patio areas, both with a table a chairs. There is access to multiple swimming pools. The property felt safe and secure with a manned gate 24 hours for entry and exit. There was plenty of AC in the house.The layout is pretty good. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs, and kitchen/living areas plus 1/2 bath on the main level.The not so good: hot water was very unreliable. Even when there was hot water, the shower didn't maintain a constant temperature. Fortunately the cold water isn't very cold.The faucet in one bathroom sink was missing the aerator, and if you turned it on very high, it shot right over the edge of the sink and all over the front of anybody standing at the sink. We ended up putting a towel there all the time to catch the water, because it was difficult to turn on the faucet at a slow velocity. I imagine this will be fixed soon, as the owners seemed to be actively making improvements.Those were our two biggest complaints, neither of which caused us much distress as we are accustomed to these types of issues when traveling to this region.
