With a traditional thatched alang-alang roof above the airy living space, guests can gather on the heritage wooden and bamboo sofas with plush white soft furnishings. The living room is the social hub of the villa, where guests can gather and socialise together while admiring the breathtaking views. In the dining area, guests can feast on a banquet created by the in-house chef, who lovingly prepares Balinese, Asian or Western meals in a restaurant-standard kitchen.
The master suite has an enormous, comfortable bed and floor to ceiling windows where the guests can wake up to enchanting views of the greenery and the sounds of the ocean waves. The guests in this room can enjoy a refreshing dip in the exclusive plunge pool right outside. The ocean pavilion bedrooms in the main house are decked out in dramatic dark wood with quirky furniture and also have enormous windows and panoramic sea views.
All bedrooms have open air bathrooms, with the master bedroom also featuring a traditional shower reminiscent of Bali's many famous waterfalls. There's a stunning sunken bathtub where guests can try a relaxing Balinese petal bath. The ocean pavilion bathrooms are decorated in nature-inspired earth tones.
If you need a break from the outdoors, retire to the air conditioned media room, where you'll find a satellite TV encased within an ornate wooden cabinet, complete with Bose surround sound system and comfortable sofas to unwind on.
Outside, guests can swim in the luxurious infinity pool, soaking up the dreamy atmosphere and looking out to the ocean mere steps away. From here, there is a 100m stretch of black sand beach just across a river where you can enjoy privacy and seclusion. There are three Hindu temples within the 1.5 acres of lush greenery, where you can experience a peaceful moment of spirituality.

Tucked away in Batu Belig just a hop, skip and a jump from glitzy Seminyak, you really have the best of both worlds. The area is quieter and a little more under the radar, with new patisseries and yoga studios popping up all the time.
The villa is just a few moments from Batu Belig beach. Enjoy 100m of uninterrupted bliss on the striking black sand - and the rest of the beach is particularly family friendly and peaceful. While the waves are too strong for any serious swimming, you can rent a body board to ride the waves. Soak up the relaxing vibe and watch the famous sunset - if you venture further down the beach you can grab a snack from a nearby cafe or local warung. You can watch kite flying here, a popular pastime in Bali. However, if you're here in July or August, you can watch Bali's annual traditional kite flying festival.
Be sure to take advantage of the villa's private driver to visit cosmopolitan Seminyak itself. You'll find plenty of surf schools where you can get acquainted with the waves and learn from the professionals. After the sun softens, hang out at one of the many alluring beach clubs for a panoramic sunset view over the Indian ocean - famous Ku De Ta and Potato Head are both nearby.
Art lovers will adore the hip galleries around Seminyak, such as Biasa ArtSpace at the forefront of contemporary Indonesian art such as installations of brass head busts with red eyes. Hotel Tugu Bali is an interesting museum-hotel hybrid full of priceless Indonesian art and antiques. Magical Petitenget Beach embodies Balinese spirituality, and Pura Petitenget is a significant link in the series of temples along Bali's west coast between Pura Uluwatu and Pura Tanah Lot. Pura Petitenget is an ancient temple that has twelve shrines and an impressive dragon staircase that leads to an expansive courtyard. Every evening, there are temple ceremonies on the beach and traditional dance displays - a truly mesmerising way to experience the rich culture.
Take a 30-minute drive to Pura Tanah Lot, a religious site perched high atop a wave-lashed rock formation. It's believed that the temple here protects Bali from evil sea spirits. Pura Tanah Lot is also a popular spot for sunset. Soak up the experience of locals praying and admire the ocean turn to gold in the evening light.
