Summary:
Enjoy this large 2 bedroom 2 full bath condo in the heart of Canmore. Prime location, yet quiet. Steps from all the amenities in downtown, and everything else you need for a perfect vacation in the Canadian Rockies. Please note: This condo tends to run a bit warm around 22-25 degrees. It may get hot in here during your stay, to cool the unit opening the windows or using the fans provided.

The Space:
Fully furnished with high-end appliances and furniture. Fully-stocked kitchen. Free designated heated underground parking. Hosts up to 6 people. This is a pet friendly unit please let us know if you will be being any pets with you during your stay as they have to be approved. We also do charge a pet fee per pet for the stay.

Located in Canmore Place (1002 8th Ave), a quiet building just one block from Main Street. Constructed in 2009, this well laid out 1008-sq ft condo provides high quality and comfortable modern living

The Property Features:
Master Bedroom has a King-size bed with a high-end SealyÂź PosturepedicÂź mattress and a TV with Netflix and a ceiling fan

The 5 piece master ensuite bathroom includes double sinks, soaker tub, separate shower and heated floors.

The Second Bedroom has a Queen-size bed with a new high-end SealyÂź PosturepedicÂź mattress.

The second bathroom is also a 4 piece bath with a bath/ shower combination and heated floors.

Large open concept kitchen boasts granite countertops, breakfast bar and stainless steel appliances.

Living room features cherry hardwood floor, gas fireplace. 1 Full-size pull-out sofa in the living room. Free high speed Wi-Fi and Netflix.

The livingroom walks out to the balcony provides additional outdoor space with a screen door to allow great air flow. 

The balcony has a Gas BBQ

In-suite washer and dryer. Detergent is provided.

The Neighbourhood
This centrally located condo allows you to enjoy the best Canmore and the Canadian Rockies have to offer.

Park your car, a network of walking and biking trails in downtown will lead you to the most stunning views of the Canadian Rockies, with hundreds of kilometres of hiking trails along the beautiful Bow River and across majestic mountain valleys. Nearby, Banff National Park is only 15-minute away; Lake Louise/Yoho National Park 1 hour.

During the Winter, you can enjoy a wide range of winter sports in any of your choice among all the world-class, spectacular ski resorts within Canmore and nearby area.

Returning from a long day after hiking or skiing, some of the finest restaurants and cafes in western Canada are just steps away from the condo, awaiting you to explore effortlessly.

Parking is limited in Canmore especially during high season May-September. Your condo has one dedicated parking spot available.
If you are bringing more than one vehicle you will have to find street parking nearby or in the Town of Canmore paid parking lots. This is beyond our control. We do appreciate your understanding of this.

This property does not have Air Conditioning. Please understand that summer can be warm and the property can get hot. Fans are supplied to help keep things cool. However we are limited in what we can do as there is no AC with this building. If having AC is important to you please inquire with us for other alternative properties that have AC.

My family and I really enjoyed the proximity of this apartment to downtown Canmore. The check-in and check-out process was really easy as well.The only caveat to this apartment is that there are pull-down blinds that impact air flow. There is no air conditioning, so we kept windows open at night. However, it was very windy and the blinds kept blowing out and smacking against the window frame loudly. Not only that, but the lights from the street came directly into the apartment, making it tough to fall asleep for those that prefer darkness.

Very good location, we didn’t actually take our vehicle out once. Walked around, close to everything. Very easy check in process and management communications were great. Happy with the amenities and kitchen items that were available, and not just dollar store junk. It was a little on the warmer side, but crack a window and you are fine.. definitely staying here again

This condo VRBO stay was fantastic. The check-in process was super easy. Appreciated the step-by-step guide with pictures to easily navigate locating and getting into both the garage and condo. Despite the smaller size, this condo accommodated 6 of us super well. The space was very clean, and well maintained. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, making cooking a full meal easy. Highly recommend.

Very blessed to stay in such a wonderful home. Everything was great, really appreciated the comfy master bed and wonderful mountain views, as well as the super close walk to the main street and all Canmore has to offer. Was also greatful for the dedicated free parking spot in the parkade. Will definately return !!!

Didn’t have a guide book for the place. Kitchen faucet leaking. No AC and it was hot at night. Open windows to loud traffic and fumes coming in. The pillows were flat as pancakes. Not enough towels and wash cloths. Because we didn’t have a guidebook, couldn’t get hold of anyone about the issues. Would not recommend anyone staying there.

A lovely place with all of the amenities. Loved the YouTube videos to show us how to use everything. The Flatbread Pizza Place across the street made for a nice evening meal on a snowy night. The only 3 (minor) issues we had were 1. The parking garage has a super low ceiling and so before opening the hatch on our ‘24 Rogue, we needed to pull out of the parking spot to the centre aisle in order to open the hatch and not hit the ceiling. 2. My husband is over 6’ tall and the EXIT sign going into the parade was hanging down. Just about clipped it a couple of times 3. The shower door in the main bathroom needed some coaxing to shut properly. Again, minor issues and would stay here again for sure. Close to everything

My spouse and another couple always go away for the Family Day long weekend. This year we chose Canmore. We had a great stay right in the middle of downtown Canmore. The facility was exactly as expected and the area was great. We enjoyed the close proximity to the main street and all the shops. We enjoyed the flatbread pizza restaurant right across the street. The building was very easy to find and very quiet. The parking facility was very clean and well lit. We will definitely come back to this rental facility soon.

The condo was wonderful with underground parking. Exactly as described and only two short blocks from restaurants, pubs and shopping. The supplied YouTube clips showed you everything you needed to know so you were up to speed on arrival. Kitchen is fully stocked as well as a BBQ on the deck so just bring the food you'd like to eat. Canmore is just a short drive from Banff so still a great location if planning on activities in Banff. Would book again in a heartbeat next time going to that area.
