You're on river time here! The Lodge and two cozy cabins blend Appalachian heritage with modern amenities and luxuries accommodations. After a day of adventure, unwind by the wood stove, enjoy dinner under the pavilion, or simply soak in the quiet. Ideal for anyone who finds comfort in nature.
Your stay includes three cabins, ideal for family and friend gatherings, retreats, and adventurers:
Cabin #1. The Lodge – - Retreat on the river
The largest cabin sits directly on the river and serves as the heart and centerpiece of the property. Hand-hewn logs and magnificent stonework frame warm, inviting interiors.
-Eat-in Kitchen: Well-appointed with stainless steel appliances and granite counters—perfect for cooking and sharing meals after a day of exploring.
-Living Room: Centers around a massive rock fireplace and wood-burning stove, ideal for games, movies, or curling up with a book.
-Entry & Mudroom: Leather dining banquette with table, comfortable sitting chairs, and a beautiful old wood-burning stove.
-Bedrooms: Offer restful comfort with premium mattresses and soft linens.
-Bunk Room: Sleeps many—perfect for children, cousins, friends on a golf or fishing trip, or anyone who enjoys bunkhouse vibes.
-Amenities: Private washer/dryer. Mini-splits for heat and AC, plus supplemental heating/cooling via space heaters and fans (no central HVAC)
-Space to relax or gather.

-Parking: Up to 5 vehicles

A hand-hewn log cabin over a century old, retrofitted for recreation and reflection. Enjoy the wood-burning stove, billiard table, ping pong, games, corn hole, and book-lined shelves.
Cook-Out Cove:
Covered pavilion built around a historic stone hearth, outfitted with a gas grill, picnic tables, and darts.
Property Grounds:
Private river frontage, grassy meadows, and the Turtle Pond.
Cabin #2: Goldilocks -- The perfect place!
This charming log cabin offers a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters, perfect for cooking meals together. The living room, centered around a massive stone fireplace, is ideal for cozy evening gatherings, quiet mornings, or game nights.
Outdoor Spaces: Slate patio with BBQ grill and firepit, peaceful front porch overlooking the pond and creek.
Amenities: Private washer/dryer, full laundry room, and river access just steps from your door.

Cabin #3: The Hobbit -- Plain, proper, and perfectly suited!
Rustic and simple, this snug and whimsical cabin is a delightful little hideaway, compact and full of charm. It invites you to truly unplug. Bedding and towels are provided in sealed totes, and you’ll find a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot, 100 year old working kitchen stove and oven. Relax inside or enjoy quiet time on the front porch with surround views of the blue ridge mountains, including the peak of Cold Mountain in the distance.
Ammenities: A portable camping air conditioner, space heaters and a Fisher wood-burning stove installed in the rock fireplace are in place for climate comfort.

All cabins have Wi-Fi.
Ideal to stop for groceries before arrival. Nearest stores (Ingles) are 10–13 miles away in Waynesville, Canton, or Brevard (open until 11 PM). Gas stations and convenience stores are 5 miles away (close at 8:30 PM).
No street lights—GPS works, but downloading a backup map is recommended if arriving after dark.
Firewood bundles available for purchase at each cabin.

4WD/traction may be needed in winter

Outdoor security cameras are present at entry gate, and facing the driveways of each cabin
