“Great home! The kitchen had everything we needed including delicious coffee and a dishwasher!Bedding was so comfortable and the towels were fluffy. One day was rainy, so we snuggled on the comfortable couch and watched movies. The house was right outside the park which was perfect!!Great backyard looking at the mountains!!”

“We stayed 2 nights for a girls getaway and we enjoyed every thing from the beautiful cottage to the beach and the hot tub. We didn’t use the sauna. The beach is fabulous. The only small suggestion we had was maybe the outdoor shower could be closed in so you could take your bathing suit off to get the sand out, that way you wouldn’t get sand in the hot tub. We would definitely recommend this place, it is lovely.”

“Beautiful view of the sunset and close to skyline trail (30mins)Clean rooms and spacious with several utensils. 3 beds could be a bit more bigger for adults but we were 4 adults 2 kids so did not have any concerns. Location was close to gas and grocery. ”

“This may be one of our favorite places we have stayed. The property is in pristine condition, and the setting is so peaceful. It is a wonderful place to recover from hiking through Cape Breton. The amenities are vast; Lynn has stocked the home with great detail to attention. There is no doubt that if we are back in the area, we will be staying here again and encouraging others to do the same. ”

“The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. “Home was very clean and comfortable and kitchen was equipped with everything you would need for a stay.The view is spectacular and we were greeted with sightings of a Seal, whales and a Bald Eagle. We would be happy to return to this beautiful location again.”
