“Beautiful cabin, clean, modern, easy to access, had everything ypu needed. Loved the local paintings in the cabin.”

“Best 💯💯💯 Highly Recommend 👌”

“Was a beautiful unit, very modern and well stocked. You are on a main road, but it’s not a busy town so didn’t bother us.”

“The accommodation was impeccably clean and great care and attention were given to every detail. The power went out in town during our stay and so that dampened the experience as we were unable to get dinner out as all restaurants and grocery stores were closed.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Great value and certainly as advertised. The property is close to the road so may not be as suitable for young families. There is definitely some road noise but otherwise a good spot.”

“An Absolutely Wonderful Stay – A True Home Away from Home! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Chalet Gedouque on September 23 with our dear friends and my dog, and what an unforgettable experience it was! This charming cottage is, without a doubt, the most welcoming and beautifully appointed cottage we have ever stayed in. Honestly, the experience felt like staying at a six-star luxury retreat! He offered support on any questions and even had a backup contact. The clifftop views were amazing - especially the sunset. “Lovely, comfortable home in Sydney River. We stayed with our three teenage kids for three nights while visiting family at various locations on Cape Breton. Convenient location, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. We would stay here again!”

“Spotlessly clean, rooms as advertised on vrbo, quick clear communication from host...perfect location to explore Cape Breton. Check in seamless as well. Would stay here again. Pro tip...bring binoculars to see wildlife on ocean right in front of the rental.”

“Our group of 4 couples loved the accommodations. Exactly as described. Very comfy beds. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We did not have high expectations, however it was very similiar to staying in student housing. We had to clean many dishes before we used them. It is a run down house. The queen beds were comfortable. Burn Mark on the sheets.!The shower was clean. Overall we were not comfortable in the environment and wanted to leave as quickly as possible.”
