Sweet Victorian Beach Cottage

Bara sex korta kvarter från stranden och ett kvarter från marinan. Detta bedårande viktorianska strandhus har alla moderna bekvämligheter i nedervåningen, med ett enormt modernt kök, rymligt vardagsrum med gasspis och helt nytt halvbad, tillsammans med den söta charmen en elegant stuga på övervåningen med tre sovrum och ett badrum.

Vår stuga är fullt utrustad med allt du behöver för en rolig vecka på stranden inklusive ett fullt utrustat gourmetkök, handdukar, lakan, strandhanddukar, solstolar och cyklar. Huset har en stor inhägnad trädgård med uteplats, matplats, bänkplatser och grill.

Stugan ligger precis i Cape Charles Historic District, så alla attraktioner är bara en promenad, cykel eller golfbil åka bort! Uthyrning av golfvagnar är också gångavstånd från huset.

Huset har en god storlek master med en Queen size-säng (sover 2) samt en familjesvit som har ett rum med en full storlek säng (sover 2) och en annan med våningssängar och en rulla (sover 3).

Vår fastighet har ingen tvätt, men vi levererar oändliga rena handdukar, sängkläder och badlakan under hela din vistelse.

Overall stay was enjoyable, house was clean and accommodating. Check in and out were easy, host was communicative. House is an older home that had been partially renovated, the upstairs is cooled by window AC units as well it is not a true 3 bedroom. Upstairs bathroom is okay, not the best for bathing children, needs updating. The appliances are all in need of upgrading, the washer/dryer unit was not functioning which was a huge inconvenience for us, as we specifically only rent where we can do laundry, as well the dishwasher broke mid way through our stay.

Perfect set up

We had a great stay. Owner was very easy to reach, although we had everything we needed it was nice knowing she was responsive if something arouse. The setup of the house was perfect for our group and was as expected from the listing. Would absolutely book again. The option to add on the golf cart was amazing. The house was clean and spacious. Thank you for a great trip.

Enjoyed our after Labor Day stay

Cape Charles is a beautiful town on the bay and did not disappoint with the a clean beach and small town atmosphere. Plenty of great places to eat and try some local craft brews. The house was nice with the updated kitchen being the highlight of the property. We enjoyed our walks to the beach and around town, being the active people we are, but it is just short of a mile to the beach from this location. If you are not up for that, no problem, just consider adding the golf cart rental from the property owner.

Girls weekend

Lenore’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway with my mom! The house was as described/pictured and met all our needs. Beds were comfy and the neighborhood was very quiet, so very restful after spending our days exploring all Cape Charles has to offer. Great weather, beach, bakeries, parks, wine tastings, restaurants, sunsets, and ice cream! Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Thank you!

Perfect Weekend

Plenty of space for our family!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Home had everything we needed, plenty of space for our family to hang out and play games during rainy days, the entire home was well-stocked with toiletries, towels and the like. The water cooler with water included was a nice surprise! Lenore was a great host and we look forward to coming back!

Great Week Away

We really enjoyed our stay. The outdoor shower was a major bonus! The house was tidy, had ample towels and beach towels to borrow, washing machine, games, books, coffee, no clutter and Lenore was super responsive throughout our stay. We rented the golf cart for a couple days, which was fun and made traveling around town very convenient.

Lovely house in Cape Charles

Had a great stay at Lenore's place. Wonderful location that was convenient to the beach and the shops/dining in town. It was helpful to rent the golf cart to get ourselves and our one year old to the beach. If we didn't have a little one it would have been an easy walk. Lenore was very responsive and answered quickly when we struggled with the lock box. The house is historic and the upstairs is more rustic than downstairs, but suited our needs well. The bed was comfortable. Very nice yard with outdoor picnic table and patio. Would stay again!

Great time

We had a great stay! The location is perfect to take a quick golf cart ride to the beach or to the downtown area. The house was a great place to wind down and the outdoor shower helped keep the sand out of the house. The owner was great to communicate with the entire stay.

Our family had the best time in Cape Charles. We loved that we could park our car for the week and golf cart everywhere. The house was a short ride to everything- the beach, restaurants, put put golf, etc. We loved having an outdoor shower for easy clean up for the kids after our beach days.

Classic Cape Charles

This home is a wonderful example of a restored Cape Charles original. It has all the modern features you would want while capturing the feel of a small beach town property from another time. The home is well equipped and furnished, nicely located, and well maintained. The hosts are super responsive. We had a brief but very enjoyable say.
