“The hotel is quiet and very conveniently located (20 mins walk from convention center and a stones throw from several breweries). The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and have good water pressure. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a.nice bar area and dining section that looked nice. “Checkin was a mess. I was told to take a smaller room than what i had paid for, i insisted and was then given key to a room that was already occupied (with bags and clothes everywhere) Some 20 min later i got access to an unoccupied room. Attitude of reception staff nonchalant. Later during the stay i again found reception staff members non-cooperative. The hotel is old and feels dingy. Room itself fine however. Easy access to downtown Raleigh by bus, stop just 200 metres outside.”
