“This is an absolutely private place in the Tuscany’s hills. You can relax all day, but if you want the hustle and bustle of the city, Arezzo is the nearest big city (Siena 1.5 hours by car). There are several restaurants to choose nerby. A major shopping centre is 20-30 minutes away. “We have been to Cortona several times before but Govanmi’s apartment was BY FAR the best. It’s beautiful, well-equipped, spacious and has a great lay out. The mattresses are excellent, AC is in every room, making the hot days bearable and location could not be better. Giovanni and his brother were super attentive and even led us stay a day longer when the Italian train system was on strike. They answered any and all questions. We will definitely return - I strongly recommend their place!!One...

“Our stay was awesome. Thank you very much.Only complaint: there was no toilet paper when we arrived. Although our host hopped on the problem right away, he brought us 2 rolls. Total. 1 for each bathroom. There were 5 of us and we stayed Mon-Thu. Kind of odd…Other than that, it was great. Would do it again.”

“Wir waren 1 Woche in dem Haus, wir hatten leider Pech mit dem Wetter, aber Licio (der Eigentümer) hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und uns viele Vorschläge für Aktivitäten gemacht. Das Grundstück ist riesig und besonders für einen Urlaub mit Hund geeignet, da es rundum sehr gut abgesichert und eingezäunt ist. Unserem Hund hat es sehr gut gefallen. Licio war sehr zuvorkommend und hat mehrmals den Pool für uns gereinigt. Auch der spontane Besuch unserer Freunde war kein Problem - Licio brachte...

“Rymligt fint hus med magisk utsikt, helt avskilt. Poolen lika fin som bilden visar. Bra service av husägaren som svarade direkt vid frågor och funderingar. Naturupplevelse med närhet till fina omgivningar med bil ....om man inte ville ta en promenad I bergen. Cortona var ett fint utflyktsmål. Inte de allra bästa sängarna, men ok.”

“We had a really good time at this property. Everything was very clean and it was well equipped for what we wanted. It was very hot whilst we were there, so the air con and pool were very much appreciated! The town itself has several decent restaurants (so no need to cook, if you dont want to!) and there are some local buses but a car is needed really to make the most of the wider surrounding area (including the beautiful pool).The owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful with any queries...

"This place has so much potential as it has a beautiful view and the surroundings with the gardens are beautiful but that's also the only positive experience. The service is terrible and the people working there are rude. There is breakfast but no options for lunch at the hotel which is somewhat irritating as there are no restaurants close by. The rooms where extremely outdated and smell terribly of mold. It stuck on my clothes despite washing for some time after.The dinner was probably the worst I've ever had through all the times I've been to Italy. One of the dishes was not even edible and the rest underwhelming at best. The main reason we chose this hotel was the horse farm and the possibility to go horse riding. When we arrived it was not possible to book any horse riding for any of the days we were there despite it literally being one of the activities listed for the hotel. When we talked to the receptionist the girl working there was literally rude about it as if it was our fault that we had not looked it up in advance to know that the horse farm is actually seperately run and not by the hotel. Information that should have gotten when we booked. I would not go back as there are plenty of beautiful places in Tuscany so having only a nice view is not cutting it."
