“Since there was no cell reception we were hoping for better WiFi. It was slow and kept buffering. The bathroom sink was installed crooked. The shower attacked you, the pressure was very forceful. The beds were old. BUT, the AC worked well! And the staff were friendly.”

“Brian and Elizabeth were great to communicate with, making sure we were settled into the Highland Sunset Suite. They provided helpful tips for the area , which we took advantage of, like the amazing sunset in Pleasant Bay after a great dinner at the Rusty Anchor restaurant. Loved the private hot tub after a day of driving the Cabot Trail and hiking. Everything about the place was perfect, clean and very well maintained. Thanks Brian & Elizabeth for a fantastic stay!”

“We liked the location but there was no ocean view. There was a very small bit of ocean above the tree tops…….not an ocean view. The appliances were in fairly good working order; but the basket of the coffee pot was dirty/badly stained and the toaster came on but it didn’t toast. The beds were comfortable. The downstairs area was very humid and the bed spreads felt damp. The beds were described as luxurious in the property ad. They were not luxurious! Good Wifi and good tv. We disappointed with...

“The listing didn't do the property justice. What an amazing little place. My family loved everything about our stay. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and the sunroom were great to relax in. The small path to the hidden deck was a great place to watch the sunset and have a morning coffee with some surprises if you pay attention. Would love to stay here again when traveling.”
