Enter a large, five-bedroom home, carefully designed to help you relax and connect with your loved ones. Nearly every room has an ocean view that makes you want to slow down and enjoy each moment.

The large ground-floor porch& lawn is a great place to gather, watch incredible sunsets and moonsets, or barbecue. The wrap-around upstairs deck is a great place to watch the ocean, sunsets, and stars at night. Both are excellent places for coffee in the morning or for long talks under the stars.

The chef's dream kitchen is the heart of the home. It's fully equipped for anything from casual breakfasts to fancy dinners. It comes with:

• A Wolf gas range with six burners
• A full-size Sub-Zero fridge and freezer
• A big wine cooler
• Throughout, there are high-end tools and appliances.

The large indoor dining table can comfortably accommodate 10 people. There is also outdoor furniture, great for al fresco dining with a view of the ocean.

Living in Style, Island-Style

This villa is all about space, light, and how things move. At every turn, large windows, open living spaces, and a design that flows from indoors to outdoors let in tropical breezes and give you panoramic views of the water.

The living room has a 45-foot open-beam ceiling that creates an expansive, luxurious atmosphere. Great for family game time, fireplace talks, or fabulous meals enjoyed together.

Go outside to enjoy:

• A dazzling pool and a hot tub;
• Pickleball and basketball courts for fun and friendly competition;
• A calm meditation temple where you can do yoga, think quietly, or do grounded morning rituals.

We meditate at 7 am and 7 pm, and guests are welcome to join. Charlie has over 40 years of experience teaching meditation and is happy to offer his lessons to his guests free of charge.

With communal areas that work well for both action and quiet time, you'll find the right balance between relaxation and fun.

Pool, hot tub, and common areas are shared with guests from the two other vacation rentals on the property.

Our warm, welcoming dog—an Airedale Terrier named Rama and service dog, Olive —are part of the family living on site. You may also spot our cat, Earl Grey, who we think is the smartest and kindest cat imaginable.

SPECIAL TERMS & GOOD TO KNOW:

Important, please READ ALL BEFORE you book (!!!)

This is a non-smoking unit. You may smoke outside in the area we point out, but you are strictly prohibited from smoking inside or on the porches or balconies! A $500 fee applies if a cigarette smell is detected.

Please be aware that there are (friendly) pets on the property, and therefore, it is not suited for individuals who are allergic to or frightened of dogs or cats.

This home offers an inside/outside lifestyle, and Hawaii is a tropical environment. Therefore, you will see geckos and (rarely) other harmless critters that you may not be used to. Geckos are cute, and most guests love them, but they also leave droppings here and there. Please come with an awareness that you are going to be in Hawaii, where nature and men commingle more than in the city. We ensure to always have the rental pristine, clean, and all surfaces disinfected before you arrive, but please be prepared that you may need to clean your surfaces more during your stay due to this fact.

While children are most welcome, please be aware that they need to be supervised at all times. The pool area and hot tub, balconies, and property boundaries are not especially secured for small children/ toddlers.

We (the owners) live in the studio below and are there to accommodate any and all of your needs. There are two other vacation rentals on the property that share the common areas, such as the pool and the lawn/BBQ area.

By booking this property, you agree not to hold the owners responsible for any accidents that result from you or your children using the "Halani" facilities or being on "Halani" property.

Warning:
Please be aware that in the late afternoon on a clear, sunny day, the Hot Tub may be uncomfortably HOT. Check the thermometer under the small white round cover on the ocean side of the Hot Tub. 106 degrees or higher is not recommended. Add cold water with the hose until the temperature is below 105 degrees. About 10 minutes.
