“The Cottage on the Kennebec is exactly as advertised. We explored the area (Houston Brook Falls, Moxie Falls, and Jackman Trading Post are highly recommended!), but spent a lot of time just enjoying the property kayaking, grilling, sitting by the river, playing games, and using the fire pit. Mike and Kim were very friendly and made us feel welcome while respecting our privacy.”

Wonderful place for those who love being in and on the water.We spent most of our indoor time on the screened in porch with had couches, a table and rocking chairs.Fire pits stocked with plenty of wood and lots of outdoor seating to take in the sunsets.This rental is located next to a public boat...

“Great little cabin near town. Low ceilings in bedrooms and bathroom would be tough for anyone over 6’2” but great for our family and small children. ”

If you would have a hard time climbing up ladder to bedroom they have another property next door with a larger and easier accessible bed. The owners live close and were very helpful. we toured with easier access to a larger bed. ”
