THE SPACE

Step inside to find a welcoming, stylish space designed for relaxation. The open-plan living area features a comfortable queen sleeper sofa, a smart TV, and a cozy fireplace perfect for cool evenings. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for your culinary needs, with an adjacent dining area. Please note, there is no dishwasher.

The cabin offers a serene bedroom with a plush king-size bed and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. For entertainment, you'll find a selection of board games and books for a cozy night in.

Your private, elevated back deck offers beautiful views of the grand cedar trees. Unwind in the bubbling hot tub, relax with a good book, or simply enjoy the sounds of nature. In the evening, the fire pit with Adirondack chairs is the perfect spot to gather under the stars.

GUEST ACCESS

You will have private access to the entire cabin and the surrounding property. There is one locked closet used for owner inventory which is inaccessible to guests.

While the cabin feels worlds away, it's conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the SIUC campus and the town of Carbondale.

Our property is a short drive from incredible public lands, including Giant City State Park and the Shawnee National Forest. These areas offer fantastic opportunities for fishing, hiking, hunting, cycling, kayaking, and exploring the natural beauty of Southern Illinois.

HOUSE RULES & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for everyone, please take a moment to review the following:

Check-in: After 3:00 PM

Check-out: Before 10:00 AM

Pet Policy: We welcome up to two dogs per stay. Pets must be reported prior to arrival. A fee of $50 per pet applies. Please note, an additional $50 fee will be charged for any unreported pets.

Other Guests: There are a total of four cabins on the 35-acre property. They are spread far apart to ensure privacy, but please be mindful that other guests may be present.

Starter Supplies: We provide a starter package of essentials to get you settled in, including 3 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels.
