“The Blue Door Bungalow was fantastic. We were in a very nice neighborhood which was close in proximity to nearby restaurants, hiking paths and to Santa Barbara. My adult daughter and I stayed after driving from LA. The Bungalow is extremely well appointed, clean and comfortable. Surrounding neighborhood was super quiet, and made for great sleeping - in addition to the very comfortable bed. So nice to have some coffee and ice upon arrival. “It was smaller than I thought, but was perfect for just me. It’s located very close to the beach and downtown pier and shops. The freeway traffic and train horn was not a big deal. I didn’t hear the freeway and only heard the train blow it’s horn a few times ( it was loud), but nothing after 10pm. ”

“First, this is just as advertised—beautiful place. A couple of things that aren’t really mentioned in the description are that the property is so private. Once you get in through the front gate, you really don’t see much at all of neighbors and it has a very private vibe. The beach really is just at the end of the block. Great beach—not super crowded, but popular and beautiful. The neighborhood is also just beautiful and friendly. ”
