“Very dirty bad smell throught hotel.Mold in places bed was clean which was a plus but not worth 200 for 2 nights at all.Please hire people who know how to deep clean!!”

“If you’re on a budget then suck it up and use them but be prepared for hardship. It smells like smoke and urine. No overnight room service for towels or etc. Breakfast is sad. Not recommended for families or children young in age. They will do their best to make things work. Pool needs to be cleaned. Otherwise housekeeping staff is fantastic!!!”

“Had the best stay at Decoy's!!!! Cottage #1 exceeded our expectations - THE VIEW!!! the adorable decor, the most comfortable bedding... I could not recommend this place more. The area is super safe and kid-friendly. The cottages do not have front desk staff available in person, but everyone we spoke to over the phone was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We made the most beautiful memories here in the cottages with our family - 5 stars all around. Thank you, Decoy's!”

“They had smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms we went into the smoking first and it looked like they threw the box springs in mud and just put them back in the room. We went to the non-smoking room on one bed obvious dog hair all over I have pictures and the other bed had been used. If I didn't have to give any stars they would have got zero. Unless you are absolutely desperate no matter of fact sleep outside.”

“We stayed at this hotel in June 2025, and apart from a really awful odor in our room, it was okay so we booked it again this year (for one night). This time, the room was not fully cleaned, had some serious maintenance issues, didn’t have enough bedding or towels for the 3 people for whom we booked the room, and, worst of all, had a broken A/C causing the temperature in the room to be 80 degrees! “I booked a3 night stay 2 nights we had a storm and no electricity with no compensation no back up generators nothing just in dark until you weren’t.. the door locked on the handle but no other safety features the door had crackers you could see outside you get what you pay for.”

“This was by far the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Floor was dirty, filled with bugs, lint, and dust. The entire area wreaked of weed. The bed couldn't have been more uncomfortable if it tried. The walls had marks/holes in them, it wasn't even decently painted. “Staff, as always try their best. Unfortunately this property needs a lot of maintenance and it is long overdue for some new towels, sheets, comforters and some renovations. Understanding this is the Key West Inn and we were not expecting 5-star service or facilities, dingy towels/sheets take you back a little bit. Additionally, they advertise that breakfast is included, we did not get breakfast, we rang the bell several times and no one answered, when they finally answered, breakfast was not...

“This property is not a family hotel. Prostitution was obvious. Shady characters hanging in parking lot. Bugs in the rooms. Rooms had visible food on furniture tops. Cigarette burns on comforters. Front desk staff was trying to be uncooperative about giving refund. Families Beware!!!”
