“Extremely poor standard of the room. Room was dirty and not properly cleaned upon arrival nor during the days we stayed there. Poor service from the staff. Spiders and animals in the room. Holes in the furniture. Overall my worst experience from any hotel so we decided to check out early and find a new place to stay. Not worth the money you are paying. “Expensive tents or fine huts just on the beach! I visited Tulum 1980 and everthing has changed. The pristine environment has changed dramatically. But, here at Nawal you feel you are pretty close to nature with the jungle just by the beach and you just beside. The breakfasts at the neighbouring restaurant are in fresh memory as well as the welcoming and very friendly staff of Casa Nawal. A positive experience!”
