“Callahan is a quaint resort in the woods. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great porch overlooking the woods.”

“Room was larger than expected. Instead of one king bed and a fold-out sofa that was expected, there was a second sleeping area with another queen bed. Very comfortable and well suited to three of us staying there. Would definitely go back. Convenient to Oregon Shakespeare Festival which is why we were there.”

“Check-in was the absolute worst hotel check-in we’ve ever had. Rooms were not ready at appointed time, so we loitered in the lobby for 45 minutes. When we finally got our assigned room we entered it to find suitcases (not ours!) already in there. Whoops! Back to the desk, sorry, there was a mix-up. Got a new assignment for room one. Should be ok. Returned to room two — another guest was standing outside, saying this was their room. What? Yep, they were assigned the same room as us. Back to the...

“It was cut and had everything I needed, great walkability, easy access to the freeway and also close drive as well to most everything I wanted to do.”

“We booked and paid for a room online only to get to the hotel at 10 pm and have them tell us they didn't have a room for us. We had to call around and find another hotel, then spend another 90 minutes on the phone trying to get my money back..”

“Hotel was great as always! Perfect location for attending OSF. I particularly enjoy the fact that breakfast has long hours, and so does the pool. This makes enjoying the amenities possible even with a full play-viewing schedule.”

“The room was very clean, something as a former maid I always look for. Staff was very helpful. We loved the soaps and staff was great about finding which particular soap brand used and even a store location for us. Motel was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs, we didn't plan to cook any meals but morning tea and coffee were much appreciated. “Our stay, as always, was wonderful! Our room was comfortable and clean, and we love the afternoon treats delivered to our room. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and you can’t beat the daily breakfasts. We also enjoy at least one delicious dinner at Alchemy, which always impresses. It’s an easy walk to shows during OSF and downtown shops and restaurants. We look forward to our return.”

“I got into town and discovered I was booked at the wrong property for my event. They refused to refund me any portion of the long stay. No exception. I hadn’t even stepped foot on the property yet and they charged me for the full stay.”

“Jewel at the front desk was great. She has a warm smile and demeanor, and really makes you feel welcome. Property is pet friendly which is one of the reasons we chose the hotel. Parking is limited and first come first serve. Street parking was easy to find, but I imagine it would be a problem in peak season or weekends. Breakfast room has a balcony terrace that overlooks a beautiful garden and creek area.”

“Pretty dirty was run down. The owner stays on the property but looks homeless. He is nice but super sketchy. He cleans the rooms. Goes through the trash cans just all over weird. I wouldn’t take kids here it was super unsafe. Not worth the money”
