“Avoid this place. The location is ok and beds ok. But the bathroom was terrible. The ceilings had dead bugs smashed all over it and the entire room smelled of sewer gas!! In fact the whole cabin had a weird smell. I think the host tried to mask the sceptic smell and made it worse. We opened everything we could to air out the place. We were stuck to stay there in the middle of a bad storm. Even our clothes smelled of sewer gas. Disgusting.”

“It was smaller than the pictures showed, no AC at all, and the only bathroom is downstairs and it's small. It was a great place for my honeymoon, but wasn't expecting it to look so run down. The kitchen and living room were beautiful and spacious, and it was beautifully decorated, just small for my taste, the hot tub was really nice, although the jets were messed up and not working half of the time. The host didn't respond to most of the questions I had which were very few, I had to call them...

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Lazy Hound Lodge! The house, surrounding property, and the view were all wonderful. There were a couple issues with imperfections but were out of the host's control and the host promptly addressed these issues. Overall, we had a fabulous and peaceful weekend. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“This was the DIRTIEST place I’ve ever been. The bathtub hadn’t been cleaned- maybe in months. The brita water filter hadn’t been changed in so long that the water was cloudy. The main burner on the stove was filthy, and had exposed wires to the point where if we’d have cooked on it, it’s definitely a fire hazard.
