“Thank you, Elena and your family, for the week you hosted us. Excellent service from you with booking restaurant, organizing transportation to Alba and making our rooms fitting our demands. Besides separate rooms with your own bathroom – important when six couples are travelling together – there was lot of space to be together and a well-equipped kitchen. Nice! For a group coming for the wine this was a perfect place to stay. Barbaresco just around the corner, Barolo and the city of Alba only...

“The location is beautiful and the house is wonderful. We stayed for two days and visited local sites. There are wineries everywhere and many tasting options. There is a local brewery with great homemade pizza an 11 minute walk - it is a place for locals and the food was great. This house is a super comfortable home base to explore the local towns. We loved it and will be back. We stayed 4 adults and 3 children very comfortably.”

“Well appointed property. We were 3 adults and a dog and the house was large enough and comfortable.The town of Cocconato has restaurants and grocery store all walking distance from house. A good base for visiting all the major towns/villages of Piedmont. Excellent communication with host.”

“Nur die Anfahrt über kleine kurvenreiche Straßen ( mit traumhaften Panorama) fordert Konzentration. Dann belohnt die Casa Clelia mit ausreichend Platz, guter Küchenausstattung und sehr schönem Garten die Angekommenen! Viele lohnenswerte Ausflugsziele (Asti, Alba, Aqui Terme etc.) sind in maximal 1 Stunde erreichbar. ”

“Heerlijk huis, fijne ligging, lekker zwembad. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig! Goede airco bij warm weer. Vlakbij heel leuk niet toeristisch dorp met alle voorzieningen. Lekker ruim, goede slaapkamers met fijne bedden. Kortom wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad!”

La vecchia casa è molto spaziosa e perfettamente pulita. L'arredamento è semplice, ma non manca nulla. I letti hanno materassi nuovi e robusti e abbiamo dormito benissimo. “We visited this house with four youngsters (18-21) and two dogs and we enjoyed the enormous space in and around the house. The swimmingpool was great. The whirlpool wasn't heated so we only could use that between 3 and 5 PM. Than the automatically refreshing of the water started and it went cold. But when one knows this, one adapts... Really great was the big room with the table tennis, table football and pool table. Even at the hottest hour of the day you could play there if you wanted. Around...

“Poorly maintained, overgrown and tired. Walls are peeling off. The kitchens don’t have an oven. Water pressure is non existent, if someone uses water downstairs there is no water upstairs. WiFi doesn’t work downstairs, upstairs the connection is really poor. No air conditioning. No sofa or other soft furniture except the beds. Dining room chairs are not sturdy, some are broken. Outdoor furniture is old and the plastic is brittle. Not as listed, everything is unkempt. Dirty floors, bathrooms...

“Heel mooi huis met veel ruimte en goede faciliteiten. Vriendelijke host, helpt met vanalles en goede adviezen voor o.a. restaurants. Zeer gastvrij, meteen nieuw koffie apparaat gekregen bij problemen met degene die er stond. Echt een aanrader ”
