“The house was great. Very clean. It had everything we needed and anything we didn’t have, the owners quickly sorted. The location is great with many little restaurants dotted around and only 30 minutes to Florence. Would love to stay there again if the pool was warmer. ”

“A perfect house to spend a holiday with family and friends. We where 13 persons from 6 months to 63 years, inspite of that we didn’t disturb each other and could really find an own space when you wanted it. Nice surroundings for bicycling, hiking, nice villages to explore. The host was very serviceminded and helped out in all strange questions asap! We all loved it!”

“Eine wirklich wunderschöne und sehr ruhig gelegene Anlage. Man muss sich auf etwas Abgeschiedenheit einstellen, aber die Häuser und die Ausstattung ist top. Pool, Whirlpool und Saune bieten einen großartigen Raum zur Entspannung. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfern, also ist man versorgt. Was ich besonders hervorheben will sind der super freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter Davide und dessen Vater. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche. ”

“Charmante maison attenante à celle des proprietaires qui eux aussi sont charmants et tres accueillants. Nous avons passe une semaine avec deux de nos enfants 24 et 23 ans. Si vous aimez le calme et la campagne c est l endroit qu il vous faut! Siene et Florence peuvent se visiter à la journee et le soir vous rentrez dans votre havre de paix. La petite ville Borgo San Lorenzo est à 5 km de l hébergement et on y trouve tout! nous recommandons! ”

“We had a fantastic time staying at Villa Poggiolo and was very well taken care of. I could really recommend to ask to get invited for a grappa/wine tasting at Rafael just a few houses away from the villa - truly a fantastic experience. The only thing to bring with is that it is very high up with very small roads to get there so once you are up at the houce you might not go down to the village that often.”

“Schönes altes Haus, mit Klimaanlage in den Schlafräumen auch im Hochsommer gut auszuhalten. Die Lage ist ein Traum (allerdings ca. 15-20 Min zum nächsten Supermarkt mit dem Auto). Man kommt von dort schnell nach Bologna und in der Umgebung gibt es neben wunderbarer Natur auch schöne und gute Restaurants. Man ist dort ganz für sich und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Der Eigentümer war sehr freundlich und entspannt und hat sich sehr gut gekümmert. Toller Urlaub, klare Empfehlung! ”

“La villa est très spacieuse et magnifique. Très calme et bien située à proximité des magasins et de la gare de Prato pour un accès direct en train à Florence. Nous avons été accueillis par Anna qui a été parfaite et efficace à notre service pour résoudre les petits tracas et faire de notre séjour un excellent moment en famille. Petite suggestion d’amélioration : Rajouter plus de verres à eau et prévoir des torchons pour la cuisine. Vincent ”

“My wife and I found the cutest villa on top of a mountain top. About 40 minutes. Outside of Florence called Villa Campestre. They were very accommodating with us deciding to have our rehearsal dinner with them last minute. Definitely not the easiest because there’s 20 people and they make all of their food in house. But they did it with a smile and ease. Pictures couldn’t even describe how beautiful this place was. Each room had its own espresso maker in it so you could easily wake up and enjoy...
