“The property is spacious, beautifully decorated and in a peaceful, rural setting. Beds were super comfy and the owners were on hand, not that we needed them, the place has everything you need and more. Its situated a short drive from plenty of pubs restaurants and lovely forest walks. The listing said there was a pub within a mile, I must have missed it but its only a couple of miles from Dalbeattie. Would definitely stay again.”

“Very quiet and peaceful. One of the bedrooms was a bit musty when we arrived but soon aired. Would have no hesitation to stay here again. A short walk to a beach.”

“The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!”

“I found this property when we had to move out earlier than planed for renovation works to our house. On arrival we were all stunned at the beauty on the gardens , the wild life, the fact we appear to be the only guests. Staff were amazing as i had 1 night were we had no where to staff, and staff were able to accommodate us. If you are looking for peace tranquillity i would highly recommend this place. “The cottage is an absolute delight and beautifully appointed. Everything was perfect and it is so tastefully decorated. We loved our week long stay. The surrounding area is wonderful to explore and there is plenty of good information in the cottage for walking and touring. ”
