“Excellent host communication and coordination. It's a great rustic bilevel home (2 Br in basement) that's well appointed with equipment (treadmill, massage chair and hot tub) great woodburning stove and newer awesome hot tub. Home is unrenovated yet comfortable with great mattresses, and perfect for a landing spot if skiing Killington or other outdoor activity with or without kids. Thank you Doug! ”

“Perfect spot for a large group to enjoy Rutland, Killington, and the surrounding area. Plenty of beds for everyone, and bathrooms so no one felt cramped whatsoever. Beautiful home and safe neighborhood. All around a great stay. If we come back for the US Open of MTB next year, this house would be high on our list to stay in again.”

The host provided clear directions, was responsive and easy to reach, and the space worked really well for us. We skied at Killington and were able to be there in under 20 minutes, which was great. “The listing stated 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. The property had 3 baths and 1 half bath. In past rentals I have found that when it is only a half bath, it is stated that way in the listing. Also one bedroom had no closet. My wife and I are 74 years old. I would not have rented this property if I had known the downstairs bedroom had only a half bath. This property listing is not accurate and should be corrected. ”

“The maple castle was awesome! Definitely the most unique house I have ever stayed in. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the river or you can walk down a tiny hill to tie up a tube and float in it. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend. ”

“Peak Hill, is a lovely and very clean home, with a fully stocked kitchen and comfy beds. This home is exactly as the pictures that are shown. We had a very small issue with the door lock (battery), called and it was fixed right away, wonderful service. The owner, Geri, we had the opportunity to meet and she is very kind and a pleasure to speak with. We travel alot and l bring pretty much my own kitchen, pillow...... with me where ever l go. However, l would of been fine using all at this...

“We loved the condo. It is one of the most well-stocked rentals we have stayed in--and we have stayed in many! There were many small touches--such as dark makeup washcloths, a jar with Q-tips and another with makeup removal pads--that really added a sense of TLC. The location, and overall design of the condo are all fabulous! Dan and Holly were very responsive when we had some questions. I do have a complaint about VRBO: Instead of communicating directly with Dan & Holly, we had to communicate...
