“No one worked reception desk when I arrived. I waited along time with no help. I found the room key and went to the room. No towel, no hot water, no remote control for the TV. They turned off the electricity to the shower hot water, only on once a day, but never at the same time. ”

“when we first arrived at Halo Homestay - we were concerned because it was not in a very nice area. We didn't realise how big Halong Bay city is. we were expecting sleepy little fishing village!! “EXPEDIAで予約完了後、チェックインに部屋が無いと言われました。このあとが最悪です。ホテルへ30万ドン（約1500円）直接払えば部屋は用意すると直接取引を提案してきました。こちらは既にexpediaへ返金不可の条件で支払済と伝えると、 expediaのサービスセンターへホテル側が電話をして、expediaへの部屋の用意はないと伝えていたようです。私に電話を変わり、expedia側から上記の説明を受け、expediaとオテル側の起因でキャンセルとさせて頂き、請求は取り消しする旨の案内を受けたため、了承し他のホテルへ泊まることに。。。ところが請求がしかっりカード会社に計上されており、相殺目的のマイナス請求も未だ確認できていません。ホテルの直取引の提案、expediaのキャンセル未処理、双方に怒りを覚えてます。”

Beautiful, comfortable hotel in a good location

"We stayed for 3 nights, opting for The Moon instead of some place by the waterfront (due to the construction work), and we did not regret it! Very friendly staff, excellent room (with a beautiful bathroom), very good breakfast and a nice skybar. Beds were very comfy (but pillows were HUGE). Our room at floor 7 had no seaview (construction site view) but instead a view over the street and rooftops. Across the street a new house was being built in a narrow slot and it was actually quite fascinating to study the progress. The hotel staff booked us scooters and gave helpful tips on where to go. "
