Mountain View Beach House Near Batemans Bay

This large, sprawling home in Catalina is a fantastic beach holiday house with both mountain and water views. It is a perfect house for a weekend or longer getaway.
There are fantastic views of mountain, water, golf course and district from balcony and the master bedroom. They are also good for beautiful views of sunset over mountains. Big family area, brand new kitchen, separate lounge room and large rumpus (bedroom 5) are suitable for various activities within our house. The backyard is fully enclosed for well trained dogs.
Our house is close to amenities suitable for people of all ages: the Batemans Bay CBD 3.6 km (bus stop is at the end of the street), famous Surf Beach 7.0 km, Corrigans Beach (a good spot for fishing and dog walking) 2.0 km, Batemans Bay Sunday Market (1st & 3rd Sundays each month) 3.0 km, Mogo Zoo 14.4 km, Hanging Rock Boat Ramp and Sailing Club 2.3 km, Botanical Gardens 7.7 km, Regional Aquatic, Arts and Leisure Centre 4.5 km, Catalina Country Club and Championship Golf Course (open 7 days a week, an excellent place to enjoy a round of golf on a 27-hole championship golf course, relax and enjoy drink and food from one of bars or coffee shop in a modern, air-conditioned clubhouse) 1.4 km, JJ’s at the Marina (a restaurant) 2.1 km, Soldiers Club 3.0 km, Tennis Club and library within walking distance.
There are some excellent lookouts and walking trails around the area. One of our favourites is Holmes Lookout (8.8 km). It offers spectacular scenic views, especially on a clear day, looking out to the southeast for the beautiful Bay, and mighty Clyde River as it winds its way towards the sparkling blue of the Pacific Ocean. It is also a popular spot for a family picnic.
Munjip trail extends from Observation Point to McKenzies Beach, taking in the views at Pretty Point and Malua Bay headland along the way. It’s about 16 kilometres in total, with three trailheads for easy access.
About 2 hour drive to Canberra and around 3.5 hours to Sydney.
