Rest and relax in this well loved cottage, stay warm in the winters with the wood stove and cool in the summer nights with the fresh air of the lovely waterways. Lounge and unwind on the nice large deck and covered porch. Here you will find everything is just a few minutes away. Hunter, Woodstock, Saugerties, Windham, Catskill, and Hudson. Come and visit our History here from our famous Artist homes, the hudson river, museums, theatre's, brewery's, the lakes and much more. Enjoy golfing At the Catskill golf club, Enjoy the Baliwick farm For horseback riding, Saugerties HITS is close by, And Hunter Mountain in Windham Mountain are just a short beautiful ride away.
The space
This great getaway is a two bedroom one bath home. You will be greeted by a large wrap around deck with multiple seating areas with a barbecue and lounge furniture. Upon entering the living room, it is open to the dining room and kitchen. It is light and bright and airy. A big comfy sofa with Lots of blankets and pillows, The walls are covered with artistry paintings and eclectic pictures from yesteryears that have many stories. It is warm and welcoming with hardwood floors, a full kitchen with full appliances. The house is somewhat secluded with mountain views in the back, The yard is nice and open we have a large fire pit, a Hammock and a watering hose for the hot days. This special place is only minutes to everything, Hunter and Windham mountains for snowboarding and skiing, all the lakes and magnificent water ways, Saugerties Tops, the Beautiful Historical homes like Olana, the Vanderbuilt Mansion, the Thomas Cole House, lots of farmers markets, antique shopping in Catskill and Hudson, Woodstock, and the town is close by with the river for boating and fishing, the Catskill golf coarse and lots of cafes, fine restaurants and stores and gas stations. The Cottage is a home you can rest and relax and play and enjoy nature with the comforts of home.
