“The home was clean and comfortable. The home does have that wood burning fireplace smell and triggered our friends allergies but overall wasnt an issue. It was conveniently located to town and easy to find. It is located on a private lane that was all snow and ice coverd but wirh AWD we did not have an issue. “My friend and I were doing some hiking in the Catskills and stayed at the house for one night. It met our needs perfectly. On the physical side, there were two good sized bedrooms and the common area and kitchen area worked well for us as we cooked our meals rather than dining out. “Rooms very small , beds so uncomfortable that no one slept well , kitchen very outdated in need of repairs and facelift . Carpets filthy, old , smelly , not even vacuumed . Definitely never vacuumed behind and under the beds. Window blinds falling off after just touching them . Wall papers peeling of the walls . Menager was nice and did his part delivering missing pillow cases . If you don’t mind poor conditions you get what you pay for but I’ll never set my foot again on those carpets....

There are so much nature and activities to explore in her property and we did not even need to go out for activities.
