âOk hotel. The furniture and amenities gave it a pretty basic and rustic feeling. The room was spacious, and the bed was nice. We could borrow a kayak from the hotel, and it was nice to go along the coast of the island. It is not possible to swim outside the hotel, but this seems to be the case on most of Caye Caulker. âThe add at Hotels for the room I paid for was very misleading. It said it had ocean view and was 18 square meters, which wasn't true.
After a bit of negotiations I got upgraded to a room that was bigger, had ocean view and AC. It was a very comfortable room with very nice view from the porch. The room was very clean.
The hotel is in the middle of everything, with lots of restaurants and shops next door.
The island is very laid-back and things close around 10pm.

The only downfall was when we went to order breakfast for them to deliver to the room, they took over an hour because they overlooked our order; plus they went to the wrong room. We rented a golf cart from them for the duration of 10 days (which you need if you are there for any length of time.)
