âOk hotel. The furniture and amenities gave it a pretty basic and rustic feeling. The room was spacious, and the bed was nice. We could borrow a kayak from the hotel, and it was nice to go along the coast of the island. It is not possible to swim outside the hotel, but this seems to be the case on most of Caye Caulker. The staff arranged both pick-up and drop-off at the water taxi terminal.â

âThe add at Hotels for the room I paid for was very misleading. It said it had ocean view and was 18 square meters, which wasn't true.
After a bit of negotiations I got upgraded to a room that was bigger, had ocean view and AC. It was a very comfortable room with very nice view from the porch. The room was very clean.
The hotel is in the middle of everything, with lots of restaurants and shops next door.
The island is very laid-back and things close around 10pm.

âOverall the facility and staff was good/great. The only downfall was when we went to order breakfast for them to deliver to the room, they took over an hour because they overlooked our order; plus they went to the wrong room. Their main focus was on a catering event they had. My suggestion is that they need to remember other guests as wellâ
âOur stay at Ashton Court over Spring Break was wonderful. We rented a three bedroom condominium that faced the water. Had a balcony with beautiful views, condo was updated and very nice. Nice pool and bar that we used on the days we weren't at the beach or on the water. The staff was excellent, always available, made all our dinner reservations, security guard onsite all night and the owner, Ken, was there the entire week we were.
