“This home was perfect for our girls week. We did a lot of relaxing and movie watching on the very comfortable couch and a lot of relaxing and reading on the front porch. This is an older home with tons of character which made it very charming. There are many things to do in the area which also made it appealing. The only negative in my opinion is that the bathroom is very small, but that is to be expected in an older home.”

“We were pleasantly surprised to find a full size refrigerator, cook top, and dishwasher in the room, along with a roomy bathroom, living room area, and separate bedroom. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offerings were meh, but this seems to be the trend these days. My only complaint was that no one was available for checkout around 10am, even after standing there for about 10 minutes and ringing their "doorbell". Ended up just leaving, as I'm sore the other...

“Two couples looking for something different from the norm while in the area for a family wedding weekend trip. Can't say enough about how cool this place is. Kyle Ripley and his lovely family have created a unique, rural farm homestead. Besides the wonderful rental home you get a chance to tour the property and learn directly from the owner how it was created to be totally sustainable and "off the grid" while providing all the creature comforts you could want.
