“Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff was helpful and wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Had to pay $15 per day to park in the garage under the hotel. There were limited spots, so friends in our group had to park in a garage 3 blocks away in the “overflow” parking. Also we did not realize that this hotel is literally in downtown Iowa City right next to the campus, bars, etc. There were some loud young people staying in our hotel. If you are looking for that scene it is the perfect location. ”

“They do the big things like a nice gym and free laundry well, but they miss the little things that matter. No TP in our room, coffee machines down, staff that can’t relate well to customers and is poorly trained. They need to refocus on those little things. They matter the most. ”

“Internet was not the best security level so I didn't use it for much. Food & wine were good, especially when snowed in due to blizzard. Room was spacious & comfortable. Workout room was great and appreciated. Exhibits around the premises were interesting.”
