“Incredible stay at black bear lodge. Perfectly nestled in the trees, the lodge had everything you could need and was very clean. The bedrooms were well appointed and the living space with the log fires in the lounge and kitchen were dreamy. We had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent the entire time. “My family (husband, 5 kids) stayed at this wonderful property for a long weekend. Right on the lake with canoes, kayaks, and lifevests. My oldest 2 kids slept in the bunkroom, my middle in the loft upstairs (his beloved "nook"), and my youngest 2 in pack n plays in the ground floor. They had everything we needed in the beautiful house. The home feels like you are in the middle of the remote wilderness but it is only 10 minutes to Shaws, Walmart, 15 minutes to North Conway, 25 to Storyland. ...

“Justin’s directions to the property are SPOT ON. It is very easy to get to using the description. The tipi was wonderful! The site was a good size and the access to the trails nearby were a bonus. The wood oven stove was clean and in good condition. Everything went off without a hitch honestly. Very fun!”
