Didn’t get to hike as much as we hoped due to rainy weather but still managed to get out and explore nearby attractions. Host was easy to work with and ensured our visit was a good experience. The property photos perfectly depict the idyllic sunset and cozy cabin vibes. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable and the fire place was perfect for a cozy rainy evening in. “Our family vacation was wonderful at the Fireside Lodge. The room setup worked perfectly for our family with the children on the lower level and the adults on the top level. We loved the decorating scheme and the awesome light fixtures. The dining room’s custom made table was beautiful and so roomy and we spent lots of time there talking, eating, and playing game. The location was perfect away from the traffic yet close to everything. We hope to stay there again when we travel to Massanutten....
