Motell i Central Valley

“My first option was to stay at Tahoe City's America Best Value Inn, as I usually do, but that place recently and permanently closed. This no-frill Pepper Tree Inn is also in need of renovation (old-style motel layout; slow elevator; some stains here and there; no breakfast; etc.), which is scheduled for later this year. Still a good value. ”

“Didnt really feel safe around the motel. Lots of people around that probably didnt stay at the motel. As a socialworker my guess would be people with mental illness and addiction. But close to many restaurants and the staff was nice. ”

“We have stayed in handicapped rooms. Room 101 was excellent, Room 108 not so good. Room 108 was also very good, not handicapped. Coffe in the mornings, but too late for early risers.”

“Very nice motel, almost like a resort. If you are there for a chill summer vacation you don't have to leave the motel. Nice staff, private beach, pool, BBQ-area, games, water fun rental and so on. Nice and clean rooms with everything you need. Breakfast is coffee and croissants/muffins, nothing more. Restaurants within walking distance. “My daughter was having surgery at Sutter Health (5 minute walk) and the area is sketchy but not bad. The room was remodeled and awesome! Clean, inexpensive and great staff.”

“We stayed just for one night. The check-in was easy and staff was amiable. Our room was clean. However, it is still in need of continued updating. You could tell that ownership is working on this but there were glaring needs in our room. Table leg is broken, the inside of the entry door needs to be painted. I did appreciate the USB outlets which are often missing in older hotels.”

“Cute place but very rude staff. Didn't see any of the staff members smile once during our stay, you felt like you were bothering them every time you were asking them something. TV didn't work in our room, so we got to use the password protected wifi instead, that was very nice. ”
