“We had a very nice stay at the property. Great home and great central location. Close to town, Billings farm and hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“This was a very nice place to stay as we explored Vermont for the first time. This location was central enough for day trips to Stowe, Burlington, Woodstock, Manchester and Bennington. Restaurants in Killington and Rutland were close by for dinners. ”

“We were visiting family in nearby Brandon. The space was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was set up with breakfast items and fridge had eggs, bread, milk, water, and basic condiments. The piano was a treat and allowed me to work on some preparation for a concert in the coming week. David is a very attentive host and the story behind the place is fascinating. ”

“This camp had everything we needed. The docks were perfect for our two boats. Great location for a weekend of fishing. The walls upstairs are open at the top, which meant not much privacy while sleeping. Bring earplugs if you’re staying with noisy sleepers! ”

“We were in town for our daughter's wedding at the Lake Morey resort. We stayed the beginning of the week here, with our family prior to moving to the resort for the wedding day and celebrations. It was wonderful! Big enough to accomodate our family, but with three stories and covered porches it was also private to those who want to hang in the lower level or main level or outside. The decor is very nice and modern and furnishings were comfortable. Big TV in the lowest level so we were able...

“Our family had a wonderful week at Camp Happy! Everything we needed was there. Outside, we spent the days using the SUPs, kayaks, Lily Pad float. We relaxed on the deck for countless hours, along with the other lounging areas. There was ample room at the docks for our boat rental and fishing. I do want to note that if old, the many steps from the house are steep. My 83 year old mom managed them fine, but we usually helped her. She really loved sitting up on the deck overseeing the activities...

“We wanted to be close to Great River Outfitters and we were. We also enjoyed White River Junction, Woodstock, alpacas, Sugarbush Farm and lots of good food and beer.We encountered a large spider web inside the back door and found the huge spider owner on the fireplace. I don't mind them so mush but My daughter had to dust for other crawlies.We could have used air conditioning the first night as it was so humid but other nights were quite pleasant.”

“ Great property!! Very nice place everything you need you can find in this home from cookware to glassware, baking needs.. i was reading lot's of reviews about this property and was worried , poor wifi, low water pressure.. i had none of those problems with 7 people total in the home.. Only thing i could say is this mattresses can use an upgrade .. but I'd definitely come back again especially in The summer.. this place must be amazing!! In the winter 4 by 4 is a must have...
