“We checked in late, around 11 there was no one at the desk, a sign said they were off helping someone, mind you we were one of 5 people trying to check in. The hot tub closes at 11 so that was no use. 1 bed the sheets were old and pilling. Breakfast we were only allowed 1 coupon because we “booked” through a 3rd party aka Expedia so we had to pay for the second breakfast. “Second time we have stayed there. The rooms are comfy and roomy. The staff is helpful and attentive. Breakfast is very good with solid options. My main issue is the parking lot lighting. There are 4 light fixtures for the parking lot however 2 are out and 1 is blinking leaving 1 working light. It’s very dark as a result and our daughter felt a bit unsafe walking out to the car alone. Hope that the management team addresses this safety issue.”
“The bed was clean and fairly comfortable. Entry had an old musty smell. I hoped that wouldn’t carry through but was disappointed. All carpeting, halls and room had a tacky damp feel and smelled like wet dog. Worse in the am when I woke up. I wish there were still hotels that had a “no pet” floor so we wouldn’t have to deal with the strong cleaners the dump on that don’t really help. Could be a nice hotel if they got rid of old carpet and had more courtesy for non pet owners! All thes great...
“Was given 4 different rooms. 1st was occupied by others. 2nd had not been cleaned. 3rd had dirty sheets and humidity was at 90% which caused wet sheets. 4th tv was not working properly and door lock was starting to come loose. We picked this hotel because we have stayed at other AmericInn and we’re happy with them. This experience was very disappointing. I would not recommend.”
