“What a wonderful and unique stay for our family road trip! After many hotel rooms, our cabin at Avila was a fun stay. This is mostly an RV park, but it's quiet and friendly with several cabins to rent. We were a bit confused, thinking we had booked the Hot Springs cabins. But there is a great pool, trails, and other fun activities.”

“The location of this property could not be better. The neighborhood and the proximity made to stay very worthwhile. That said, the air conditioning was not working, the washer and dryers were not working, and the air hockey in the rec room was not working. Not all the windows had screens in the sliding door to the deck also had a broken screen. With temperatures up to 97°F in the day, we needed to keep as many windows and doors open at night to have a reasonable temperature and lack of screens...

“Pretty much everything about this house was perfect. The only small question i have is about the nonexistent AC. But we were there during some really hot days, and we could keep the bedroom temperature down by opening the windows and running the ceiling fans. Great to have washer, dryer and dishwasher. Totally recommended house!”

“The cabins were in very good shape, they had all the items we needed. Also, housekeeping was quick to change towels. The property has absolutely beautiful scenery; our family fished and really enjoy the pontoon rental/lake experience. I would recommend Convict Lake to anyone.”

“We stayed at this property with our adult children during a family vacation. It was clean and comfortable, and it was great to be able to stay inside the park. A couple of things we weren’t aware of (these did not impact my rating, just FYI for others). The property is around 2000 ft higher than Yosemite Valley, which means more snow in winter/spring. We were unable to get one of our cars up the driveway during a late winter storm. It is steep and has a hole at the bottom, which made traction...
