“The cottage was wonderful with a beautiful view of the lake. All of the little touches through out the cottage (throws on the sofa and chair) made us feel welcomed. We only stayed 2 days during our daughter's wedding but definitely plan on another stay when we can enjoy the kayaks and bicycling around the lake.”

“We had a great time. Cabin was right on the lake with a nice small "Beach" area set up and maintained to enjoy. Especially liked the small stream running though the property, and the Sasquatch trail for extra features. It was very hot (in the 90s) while we were there and the window AC unit mostly did the job with just a couple of too warm spots inside. The water is on a shallow well which is typical in the area for cabin but it did have a strong swampy smell so bring your own drinking water...

“Ron and Michelle were such great hosts! They were very responsive, very flexible and just great people overall! The property was so close to everything we had wanted to do, so you could not beat the location. It was even better being able to be slightly isolated from all the action by the lake and the property was fantastic. The house was stocked with everything we needed and was extremely clean. I would highly recommend this to any couple who is looking for a wonderful stay in this area. Thank...

“Was a very nice visit loved the house!!”

“Dale is a nice host and his cottage is nicely decorated and clean. We didn’t really use the kitchen except the coffee bar as we were helping my sister and her husband with a building project and so just needed a place to sleep and shower and this little cottage was perfect for that. ”

“Very quaint little cottage near Tawas and public beach. Close to good restaurants. We had a peaceful stay.”

“I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet. For most floors this really isn't a big deal, but it's basically like ice. I only point this out because I do not want someone to actually get hurt without at least a bit of a...

“This is a great place to stay. Worked perfectly for working in the area. Definitely plan to stay again. Cabin was clean, food nearby, everything was there that we needed. Coffee and filters was in the cupboard which was also nice. Great place on the river. Beautiful view.”

“Great place. Had a wonderful time. Will book again next summer or maybe one more time this year.”
