My only complaints, which is minor, we could have used pool towels and more bath towels. Primary closet was locked so would have liked a wardrobe to hang clothes in. “Really nice, well furnished. The "kids" room was neat but the single beds were pretty firm for this adult. The couch was AMAZING though! It was soft and had wonderful pillows and there was even a throw blanket on the couch and the loveseat. Nice big TVs. The view and the fans on the deck were very nice as well. "The lodge is nice and charming. Pool areas good and water clean. The rooms are dated, but ours was clean and good. The bar and restaurants are okay. I guess the staff is Midwest nice, but maybe a little bit lazy. I don’t get the feeling anyone would go the extra mile to make my stay better. But with the price tag it’s good value for money, I would go back."
