“It was clean and the host was very good at communication; however, it was in a very dangerous neighborhood and we did not feel safe. My husband had to leave a day before the three kids and I so we stayed somewhere else for our last night. There were numerous in-housed people on the streets, gunshots in the stop sign etc. In addition, there were not enough pillows for our family, and no laundry detergent. ”

“Comfortable, great location, easy access, quiet. Mostly clean, one of only two bath towels was stained though. Kitchen clean and stocked for what we needed. Living room lamp didn’t work but able to temp move office lamp that did. a/c worked great. Overall was great place to stay.”

“The apartment was very clean and well organized. It met all my needs. I appreciated being so close to the university and had access to great restaurants and other shopping. I appreciated the quick response from our host as she accommodated our specific needs. It was a wonderful location and having our own parking spot was a great convenience. ”

“Taryn was friendly and generally responded in a timely way.My biggest beef was that the property was on the second floor.It was a walk-up with a flight of stairs.Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal at all.But when you're traveling for two weeks and have a LOT of luggage, it was a hassle.Worse, I'd recently had surgery. When the host didn't offer an alternative solution when I was checking out, I knocked on the door of a total stranger (downstairs). Fortunately, he kindly offered to carry my...

“The space was as listed and reviews were accurate. This was a great location for walking to many places in Old Town. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were high quality.Taryn was a very responsive host and addressed any concerns and questions promptly. I had a very pleasant stay.”

“This place is, as advertised, bizarre and beautiful. My wife and I loved it and will return whenever we visit our son a couple miles up the road. Being from Alaska, AC is very important to us and it worked perfectly for us. The beds were quite comfortable, all the furniture was comfortable, the TV was big and had a great picture, and the kitchen, while small had everything we needed. One caveat though. We would caution people with mobility/accessibility issues . There are uneven steps up or down...
