“Good place to stay. Close to everyting. 5 Min walk to subway, store, resturang and 15 min walk to Shinjuko crazy turist area. Good space in room (compare with other hotel room in Tokyo) with bath, kitchen, workspace and small couch. Very small tv and make sure you book the whole visit in advance. If you try to extend 1 night you get robed.”

Everything, from the warm welcome to the fantastic breakfast (we tried both the Japanese and the Western and as we had it in our room a rolling table was delivered at our selected time) was astonishing but what baffled us the most was the impeccable service we received from everyone at the hotel. This is clearly a hotel where the management knows how to run a successful operation. ”

“Nice view over the city from the room, but the window placement caused a lack of privacy, it was possible to see into several other rooms. Service minded staff, good breakfast. Nice bath facilities, although the swimming pool is a bit shallow. Beautiful lobby. The hotel bar Old Imperial was cosy and luxurious but expensive. The drinks were delicious.”
