“mcmenamins is always super fun! Basic SRO style rooms , but very comfortable beds and linens.
Like usual, this is a bit different from the usual hotel room - the facilities are great and the amenities far more comfortable than you’d think for the price , but if you want the average motel experience keep looking.
Vintage touches galore., modern AC / hvac, no direct controls. Wifi limited. Mcmenamins restaurants are technically next door , meaning you will ever so briefly exit to street...
“The room was very clean and inviting. Staff was excellent! Appreciate the lotion & soap dispensers in the bathroom.
Would be nice to have an option to have the fan run continuously on the Air Conditioner. The loud and random on/off starts and stops is very disruptive when trying to sleep. With no windows that could be opened, it was the only way to cool the room. We either suffered in a quiet but sweltering environment or put up with jarring HVAC cycling all night long.
Lastly, find a smoke...

Well, if that requires an old hotel that’s correct. But for me a boutique hotel needs to be more than that. The insulation is very thin or even non existing, which means that the room is cold (even during summer) and noisy from outside and the corridor. But you can also hear the train from outside every hour during the night.
When we came to our room the sofa bed wasn’t very well done.
We would not stay here again.”

“Meget tæt på motorvejen, men det larmede kun hvis vi åbnede vinduet. Rigtig fint vedligeholdt. Rent og pænt. Meget flinke receptionister. Vildt god morgenmad med både varmt og koldt.
