“Great updated historical property! Food was excellent and enjoyed the bars with different settings and live music.”

“Super clean!! Especially with it spread out. Beautiful mornings drinking coffee and looking at the mountains. Be prepared, it is a drive so bring what you need!!”

“The rooms are clean and okay. Our room had, light bulbs burned out, closet door would not close, shower curtain stuck on curtain rack. Only soap, shampoo and busted lotion bottle. The restaurant was not enjoyable because of the food quality/cooking was poor. Restaurant service was barely okay because we didn't get what we ordered. Very slow service. Hot tub was closed. Disappointed. Person who worked Ice Cream bar was disrespectful and downright hateful. The best thing is the beautiful...

“Professional staff, room was super nice, clean, complimentary breakfast was well kept, items were hot and good. Clean breakfast area.”

“Det var ganska enkelt (och billigt) boende. Läget var perfekt, precis bredvid Blue Ridge Parkway. Utöver det var det dock inget speciellt. Personalen var trevlig. Rummet var som sagt var enkelt, men dock rent. Det enda vi har att anmärka på var att det var svårt att hitta hotellet med GPS:n.”

“A cheap place to stay near the parkway, the owner was nice.”

“Very professional”

“Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

“It was easy to access from the interstate. The lady at the desk had a list of eating places and the times they were open, which is always good when you are not a local. I would recommend it for people to stay there and would stay again when close to the area”

“At check in we had to provide all the information that was provided online to Wyndham Super 8. The attendant gave us our key and told us the stairs were behind us, “The owner is cheap and doesn’t think an elevator is necessary. The light at the sink flickered and then never worked again. We immediately notice the missing bar for TP with the TP roll stuck on the bar and there was only 1/4 of a roll. Over 3 days we never received more TP and ran out the morning of check out, forced to use facial...

“Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. ”
