“It was truly a wonderful house. I stayed there with my father, mother, wife, and two children, and the beautiful, classic rooms made us feel like we were really on vacation. The fireplace in the living room added to the atmosphere. We enjoyed our meals at the comfortable U-shaped dining table, and made many great memories. Thank you so much.”

“The cabin is well equipped and comfortable for adults over 16. We worried that the cabin is pretty close to the road for our dog and if we had a little kid with us that could of been more stressful. It is easy to get to Ohio pyle and all the activities in the area. We appreciated that the cabin was very clean and enjoyed the quiet and board games provided.”

“This cabin has wonderful modern touches and amenities but still felt like a private retreat. Was a great location for going to the parks during the day and then coming back in the evening for some fire therapy and soaking in the hot tub. Host was very responsive and provided great details for enjoying the area. Would definitely consider returning for ski season.”

“The cabin and location were excellent. Everything you need is in the cabin and all finishing are high end and beautiful. The private location is perfect for enjoying the rocking chairs on the front porch, relaxing in the hot tub or around the fire pit. “Cabin is very nice but felt you should include photos of Orndorff cabin in proximity to Schaeffer house. It was not occupied, but if it was, it would have changed our entire trip due to loud talkers in our group around the fire ring. Cleanliness was good except half eaten oreo left on top of refrigerator. Made me wish I would of bought the oreos I was looking at the prior day. Honestly did like the Schaeffer house.”

“This rental was great and i will definitely be back. Dean was very helpful and responsive. The property is much better than the pictures lead you to believe. The stream is just steps from the back door and there is a second floor balcony that i was not expecting. I saw no other humans during my whole stay (this was a goal) but i did see lots of deer and turkeys. As a bonus there are 2 trees right near the fire pit that were perfect for a hammock! ”
