Helium was a fantastic host, always polite and ready to help us however we needed. House was clean and bedroom was as described. Our flight was late in the evening so we were allowed to stay an extra 6 hours and Helium even went to collect some food. Breakfast was tasty and very filling. We loved it here and plan to return. âWe went to Chandragiri Hills for two nights in Oct 2024 in the hopes of seeing clear views of the Himalayas, and Mount Everest. We were not disappointed. The best time to see the mountains is early morning. With luck, it will be clear enough to see Annapurna and Mount Everest. We were lucky enough to see both.
The property was nice, comfortable, and the restaurant had great food. â
âBujan picked me up at the airport as pre-arranged and transferred me to the hotel. It was a pleasant comfortable journey and Bujan was friendly and hospitable. He proved equally friendly at the hotel checkin and efficiently got me set up in a well appointed spacious room with a nice view of the pool and garden for my short stay. âHotellet Ă€r trevligt och ligger pĂ„ en lugn gata ca 15 gĂ„ngvĂ€g frĂ„n Thamel och Monkey temple. Personalen var trevliga, rummen vĂ€lstĂ€dade och vi var mycket nöjda med bĂ„de frukosten och middagen. â
âI had an excellent stay on my business trip. Service and food was excellent! I will most definitely be staying again when I return. Location was perfect central location for all my needs. The hotel offered a lot of assistance in anything I needed which is critical when coming from another country. â
âThis is a must stay for anyone who wants to stay in a historic building, steps from Durbar Square. But the real appeal for me was the wonderful people who work there. They always had a kind word, offered suggestions and help whenever I needed it and made me feel like a part of their family. â
âPerfect location near the Thamel area, in a dead end, so no traffic. Large room, clean and a nice roof top restaurant/bar/breakfast.

The staff is very helpful - and we felt very well treated by them during our visit.
E.g. we had been on a morning Mountain flight, where they had given us a breakfast package. They also gave us breakfast when we got back from the flight.
The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is fully OK - and with superb coffee.
We definitely recommend this hotel!â
