âHad a lovely one night stay. Richard and Karen were very good hosts. Room was nice, with a very comfortable bed. Good facilities, en-suite. Nice touch was the fresh milk in the fridge, just outside the room for tea and coffee, along with a couple of bottles of water. Also had a couple of bars of chocolate on the hospitality tray! Although property is in centre of town it is on a small side road and is very quiet. Parking is nearby, which Richard directs you to and is very reasonably priced....
âEasy access from A1(M) and convenient for Harrogate and York. Our one night visit introduced us to a historic home, beautifully restored by the current owners. All the staff were exceptional; the house has interesting rooms, clean and beautifully decorated. Already looking forward to a return visit. Highly recommend!â

âThe Arc Harrogate is a small but fantastic hotel. There were detailed instructions sent to me about everything before I arrived and I had a lovely warm welcome from the owner. The parking is on street parking, but the hotel provided the necessary permits, complete with a photo of how to display them and details of what time the parking ran out.
The room was spotless and very well serviced. Every day the bathroom was cleaned, the tea and coffee supplies topped up and so on.

âThe room was extremely hot. I got a room without windows nor any ac. I asked if there was an alternative it was not. So basically no sleep and not possible to work in the room. Since the room temp was closer to 28 degrees. â
