“The Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is an aesthetic paradise. Truly. We learned upon arrival that both Harborside and Beach Club share amenities, so the options are unparalleled to other hotels in the area. Whether you get a friendly front desk staff is apparently a gamble. We went twice in a month and had entirety different experiences. Can't beat the visuals though. Highly recommend. ”

“The property was nice. Transportation into town was difficult due to the distance. It took over 30 minutes to get an uber or cab. The price was high for the nightly rate and the rooms at the Boardwalk could use a little refreshing. The staff was nice, however I have had better service at resorts that cost the same price. Lastly, the resort does not offer a shuttle service around the property. I found this odd… I had to walk from the main check in area (different building) with my luggage...

“Overall our stay was fine with a few issues. 1. Location is not the best, would look for other options closer to French Qtr. 2. Thin walls, could hear neighboring rooms. 3. Visible code compliance issues. Door to room did not have smoke gaskets, windows were inoperable could not have been used for emergency egress. 4. No thermostat in room, no control of room temperature. Will not return.”

“It was a nice quiet place to stay while visiting Charleston. The staff was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was great. The location is a bit far from the main activity in the historic district but it gives you a good opportunity to walk the full length of King Street and see all of the shops. The only thing I didn’t like was when I booked my hotel it was not clear that this a resort, and I was being booked by one of the timeshare owners and not the resort itself. Also it wasn’t...
