“Great time, Great Host, Easy Stress free stay”

“I wanted to share how much I loved the view of the lake. The house having trees on all sides provided wonderful privacy. The only things we needed to provide were beach towels and food, as the house had everything else.”

“Beautiful place and location, was perfect for a guys weekend up north. Didn't see any, but the elk map helped in giving us places to explore and look for elk! The place was clean and had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thanks so much for having us!”

“Lake view was wonderful, we spent a lot of time on the porch where there was plenty of seating for the 7 adults we had. Location was a short drive to Petoskey and a few wineries in the area. Everyone had their own space/bathrooms and beds were very comfortable. Would gladly book again!”

“The house is nicely appointed and clean. I was very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking utensils, pots/pans, even a crockpot and insta-pot! Never saw that in a VRBO before! The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the area is very peaceful. However, the area near the dock is not good for swimming as described in the property overview. You sink mid-calf in silt and we lost a pair of water shoes as a result. Pioneer Park across the lake is better for swimming and is a...

“The house is great. The pictures are accurate and it’s overall very comfortable. The yard and beach are nice especially with little kids. The beach is small but perfect to contain a roaming 4 year old. Quick walk into town and very very quiet. ”

“Such a beautiful location. Right on Thayer Lake. The cabin was beautiful and looked like it had completely been remodeled inside. Many extra amenities and the sheets were so soft! We would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.”

“From the second we stepped in we fell in love with the inviting space of the fireplace. The house was very comfy , the lake was great , the paddle boat was nice we even fished on it. Great bass and panfish fishing.We plan to come back again!”
