    Important Notes for Your Stay:
    • Heated Pool Option- Enjoy a warm swim! Pool heat is available April 1 – November 1 for $200 per day (2-day minimum) at a max temperature of 88 degrees. For weekend stays, the pool will be heated upon your arrival and remain heated until Saturday evening.
    • No Garage Parking- Garage access is not available during your stay—ample driveway parking is provided.
    • Signed Lease Required- To finalize your booking, a signed rental agreement is required.
    • A background check will be completed before arrival details are shared. This helps us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Must be 25 years of age to rent this property.
    • Early Check-In / Late Check-Out- Want to extend your stay a bit? Early check-in (12 PM) and late check-out (2 PM) are available for a $150 per request—subject to availability.
    • No Events or Weddings- We love a good celebration, but for the comfort of all guests and neighbors, events and weddings are not permitted.
    • Dog-Friendly with Fee- Bringing your pup? We welcome up to two dogs with a $150 fee per dog. Just let us know in advance!
    • Lake Levels May Vary- Water levels on Lake Norman can fluctuate daily and are outside of our control.

This was a wonderful spacious lakefront home that we all enjoyed. There were a few issues, which if resolved would take this home from very good to excellent. 1) We were disappointed that we weren’t warned about active construction going on around the new pool. While we were able to use the pool, the fence was not secure and had a large open gap where children could slip through. There were also multiple sharp nails and cigarette butts in the grass that construction workers had left behind. In addition, there were unfinished stairs and patio deck you could access from the pool area without any railings that took extra vigilance to keep kids away from (some orange plastic construction tape marked the hazard, but didn’t prevent access). Once this area is complete it will be a great addition, but guests with small kids should take note 2) Lack of blackout curtains in kids bunk room and many guest rooms made it hard to sleep in on vacation 3) No door on the kids bunk room meant sounds traveled from the main living room and kept kids with an earlier bedtime up 4) Not a necessary, but would be nice to have a second dishwasher. There were plenty of dishes, but with a home that hosts 20people we were having to run multiple cycles per day.That said, all the suggestions for improvement are fixable and this is a great property. We loved the lake access, diving board off the dock, provided kayaks, fire pit for s’mores, and game room. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful but here are some suggestions. Fix shower light in primary bath and the fan in the primary bath. Leave more towels in primary bath. Light over stove is out. A number of pans were not clean. We used Brillo on a number of them. Leave more kitchen towels.P We could not find a broom. The game room was a big hit. The pool was great. The property location was outstanding . Very nice pier for boat and swimming. Close shopping stores . Screened in porch was well used. Ceiling Fans were very convenient. Perfect for family gathering with a well stocked kitchen .

Properties will equipped with indoor and outdoor games, kayaks, fishing, rods, lifejackets, pool, floats, and noodles. The kitchen is the most well-stocked I’ve ever seen in a rental. The lawn wasn’t mowed and the garbage from the prior renters was still in the bins outside but the management company took care of it immediately. I liked the text conversation with the management company. They almost always replied within five minutes. When I didn’t like is the remote control of the hot tub. It was a real pain to have to text to get them to turn on the heat or the jets or both. And then text them to turn it off. What if we wanted to use it at midnight? We didn’t but still. At one point it turned off while we’re in the tub and it started getting cold. It took a bit to get it reheated through the text process. It’s a very annoying process.

Overall the house was beautiful, clean and lots of room for my family. It has everything you need in a rental home. Host was very attentive to us when needed. Looking out to the lake everyday was beautiful!! The kids loved the game room, going in the lake and the pool. Only one thing we like to say the pool area is nice but there is no gate to the back yard, you had to squeeze through an unfinished fence or go up the deck stairs to come back down threw the house. Also between pavers and fencing Very unsafe. Otherwise we would love to rent the house in the near future!
