Lakefront "Getaway on Malibu" är en skiva av himlen på jorden! Njut av den fantastiska solnedgången över sjön Norman när du är på den nya bryggan, gör s'mores vid eldstaden eller äta middag i det renoverade köket.

Köket och det stora rummet har ett öppet koncept som passar för underhållande vänner och familjesammanträden, med fönster från golv till tak med utsikt över sjön. Den våta baren är ett utmärkt ställe att blanda dina drycker med sommarlovet.

Det rymliga sovrummet har sjöutsikt, king size-säng, stort badrum och garderob. Det andra och tredje sovrummet har dubbelsängar, det fjärde sovrummet har två tvillingar.

Det finns uppdaterade möbler och golv i hela, utsikt över vattnet från skärmad veranda och däck, och en utomhusdusch för total avkoppling. Bäst av allt detta är en ranch, så inga trappor!

Getaway on Malibu ligger på en vik, perfekt för bad, kajakpaddling eller flyta på en flott. Vi har en båtramp som gör det enkelt att lansera ditt eget vattenhantverk. Vi är vid avfart 33 av 77 (1 mil till paradiset). Förvara din jet ski eller båtuthyrning från den närliggande marinan. This was our third consecutive year stay at this property. It is clean, well maintained, and has three separate corridors with bedrooms and bath in each. The owner is easy to work with and responds quickly to inquiries. Highly recommended !

From check-in to check-out this was a stellar experience. The owner is quick and easy to communicate with. And the home is even better than listed. Truly every amenity has been provided. This was the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen, with ample cookware, appliances, utensils and even spices. We thoroughly enjoyed mornings on the screened-in porch, days on the lake, and nights by the fire. And the property is extremely convenient to groceries, shops, restaurants and the interstate, but feels remote and peaceful. We will definitely return to this home (and I rarely say that after a vacation).

This was a wonderful week for our family of 4, with grandparents and another couple. The layout of the house is very nice and updated, for privacy, a great open living room, and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed mornings on the screened in porch. The lot is gently sloped so it’s pretty easy to head down to the dock and back. The dock is very nice, we appreciate the location in a cove with nice sunset views from the dock but very little boat traffic. Water was about 8-9ft deep off the end of the dock and 89 degrees in July; the kids loved jumping in and swimming. We really appreciated the nicely stocked closet of floats and the paddle boards and kayak. Easy to get to off I-77. Christine was excellent with communication. If you have your own boat there’s a nice dock bumper padding on the side of the dock. Fishing was good too, bluegill off the end of the boat ramp and catfish from off the dock. Bass in the back of the cove and off the points coming in.

Fourth of July Fun

Memories on Malibu was a perfect fit for our family of 5 adults and 2 children. We all had ample space to spread out. We utilized the back porch, fire pit and dock. The grandkids loved fishing from the shore line. We rented a boat one day and enjoyed tubing.The highlight to a great week was the 4th of July fireworks that we could see from the dock. Christine was available for any questions that we had. Her immediate response was appreciated and she was great to work with. We loved the location of this house and would love to return.

Perfect Lake House Vibes

I would return over and over again. Very peaceful setting. Read if looking for an accessible vacation home: It was a challenging property for my son, who is a wheelchair user. I would not recommend the property for someone in a wheelchair full time. For anyone interested in the specific challenges, I can share those with you. My husband and I both were able to provide help to my son and we made it work.

Perfect!

Everything about this rental was perfect! The house is roomy, well-appointed and clean. All bathrooms are new, as is kitchen. Location is fantastic- a quiet, beautiful cove perfect for swimming, kayaking and fishing. Beautiful views, great deck and firepit. Christine is extremely responsive and very friendly. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Property

The property was everything it was presented to be. It’s in an excellent location on a quiet lake alcove and easily accessible from I-77. We found the place very clean and ready for us to move right in. The floor plan is perfect for three families or groups. The owner was very easy to communicate with, and always responded promptly. Our family had such a wonderful week that everyone wants to do it again next year at the same property. This was my first experience using VRBO, and proved to be a very positive experience.

Wish it were mine!

From the home itself, it’s neighborhood location, access to roads and shops and of course the waterfront location, we could not have been happier with staying in this home. It was spacious and comfortable for the six adults that made up our group, the master suite and shower were large, guest rooms and baths well placed and separated on either side of the home, lending to privacy for everyone. Christine (host) was responsive and had her home well stocked with spices and other amenities that helped make our stay easy. You won’t be disappointed staying here!

Couldn’t have been happier!

The home was very clean and the set up ensured together time but also privacy when desired. Amenities were plentiful and the dock was great. We really enjoyed the fire pit. (Nice that cut wood was there for us) I would highly recommend to anyone considering this location. Great communication from owner too!

Wonderful Stay!

Christine’s place is just magical!! Our annual 6 night family vacation (my husband, kids and their spouses with 3 grandkids 3 and younger) enjoyed our stay. We ate all our meals together in a well stocked kitchen. This home layout was perfect as each family had their own private section with bedrooms and a bathroom. The great room area ideal for smaller kids and the TV’s worked with Netflix and Disney the smaller ones needed! The location is ideal, easily reached and near shopping. This home is thoughtfully done and well equipped with floating toys, kayaks, and it is on peaceful waters with beautiful views. The screened in porch was such a special and fantastic relaxing area. This isn’t a new build but it’s comfortable, private, and as homey and restful as anyone could want.

Great Getaway!

My husband’s daughter and family recently visited from England, spending time at our home in the mountains then spending their last week at Lake Norman. This home was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for all and privacy when needed by the layout of several bedroom and bathroom wings. The views of the lake from the house were wonderful and the dock was great for lounging, fishing and sunbathing! When wanting to avoid the sun, we loved spending time on the screened porch. The owner was always available when needed and supplied us with the necessary information needed to rent a boat while staying. Our visit to Lake Norman was the perfect end to a wonderful family vacation.

Nice Clean open concept. The grand kids had a great time and plenty of beds for all 7 of us. The 3.5 bathrooms was really nice. The dock was great to sit on in the AM and have a cup of coffee.

Fun Filled Waterfront

This was our 5 th year renting a VRBO on Lake Norman and this home and location was at the top! The owner kept communication open and easily available during the booking process all the way through the stay. We found the home very clean and ready to go for our family water vacation, the home has a great back yard and dock to make enjoying the private water cove easy to do! The floor plan flows nicely from the common area to the private bedrooms and bathrooms. I would highly recommend this home and owner for anyone looking for a great water front vacation.
