“We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. “We had a great stay at Vermont Suites. The unit was updated and spotless. It was quite large. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were in the shower. Bottles of water were left for the guests. The closet was big. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was available if we needed anything. Three great restaurants within walking distance: Parkway Diner, Guild Tavern and Barnyard Wood Crafted pizza. We would definitely stay here again. Don't hesitate to book your stay.”

“Burlington in general is a pretty safe place. The picture of the hotel is not the most realistic. Hotel looks regular in pics but in reality is trashy, room smelled like a second hand store and we found stains in the bedding and hair on the tub and dirty qtips on the trash can. Not staying there never again”

“Do not book this hotel - this is a La Quinta hotel not an upper scale Wyndham hotel. I spoke to Expedia customer service as I was not happy. Once they did some research they too agreed that the hotel’s advertising on Expedia is misleading and deceptive. They gave me a small credit to my Expedia account for the inconvenience. Book the La Quinta offer on Expedia (if you want to stay here ) it is $100-150 cheaper than the Wyndham. But if you are in or traveling to Burlington VT there are better...
